She has been a champion for election and ethics reforms during his 6 years on the job. Previously she was the dean Wayne State University’s Law School. At the time she was the youngest woman in U.S. history to lead a top-100 law school. She’s widely considered a first-tier possible candidate to succeed Gretchen Whitmer as Governor.
